Play Haven is hiring permanent, full time and part-time teachers at our Sun Prairie and Madison locations. Play Haven Child Care is a family-owned and operated company that has been serving the community for over fifty years.
We are looking for caring, passionate, and experienced teachers to join our team of hard-working early childhood professionals. Candidates with previous childcare experience and/or willingness to continue education are strongly encouraged to apply. We proudly participate in T.E.A.C.H., a cost sharing scholarship where we share the cost to further education in the Early Childhood Education field. This means 100% of your college tuition is paid for! (available after 3 months of employment)
As a teacher, you will have access to supplies and materials necessary to carry out day-to-day activities. Each teacher will have the freedom to plan and implement daily thematic lesson plans that are age-appropriate and will work within classrooms with ample toys and age-appropriate activities.

Responsibilities (Include but are not limited to):

-Maintaining a safe and nurturing classroom environment
-Ensuring compliance with DCF 251 and Company Policies
-Engage with children in developmentally appropriate activities
-Create a friendly environment in which parents and children feel welcome
-Track and reflect on the growth and development of children in care
-Display professionalism on a daily basis
